Not every pouch needs a standard zipper.
For brands looking for a more specialized closure, Triple Lock and Aplix are two premium zipper options available for custom pouch projects.
Important: These are not stock options offered through our online short-run pouch configurator. They are available through our custom-order program, which typically requires 5,000–10,000+ pieces and a $2,500 minimum order.
The upside? At these quantities, custom production can offer very efficient unit costs along with more options for tailoring the pouch to your product.
Triple Lock is the more premium of the two options and provides a very noticeable opening and closing experience.
Consumers can hear and feel the zipper snap closed, providing extra reassurance that the package has been properly resealed.
Triple Lock offers:
For brands where the closure itself is an important part of the consumer experience, Triple Lock is our more premium option and comes at a higher cost.

Aplix takes a simpler approach.
Its hook-to-hook closure technology requires minimal pressure to open and reclose the package, making it an easy-to-use alternative to a traditional zipper.
Aplix offers:
Both closures can be a good fit for products such as powders, protein supplements, cereals, dried fruits and nuts, pet treats and other packaged goods.
If you're looking for the more premium sensory experience — that noticeable snap and tactile feedback — we'd lean toward Triple Lock.
If easy opening and reclosing with a straightforward hook-to-hook closure is the priority, Aplix may be the better fit.
Triple Lock and Aplix are custom-order options and are not currently available on our stock short-run pouches.
Custom pouch projects generally start at 5,000–10,000 pieces with a $2,500 minimum order, but they can provide significantly better unit economics at higher quantities along with access to specialized features like these.
